Once-Rejected FAA Software Upgrade May Prevent Planes From Landing on Taxiways

There is a software upgrade that was once rejected and it may prevent planes from landing on taxiways. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration is putting in new recommendations that is declined six years ago that could actually have prevented pilots from landing last month on a taxiway that was crowded with jetliners.
